The conference coincides with the full applicability of the Digital Services Act (DSA) in Europe on 17 February 2024. This milestone marks a significant step in shaping the landscape of digital services and platforms across the continent. Our gathering aims to explore and discuss the vital role the DSA can play in effective platform regulation.
Opening Plenary and Reception (15 February): The main conference kicks off with an engaging opening plenary and reception, providing an excellent networking opportunity.

This conference is a joint effort by the DSA Observatory, the Institute for Information Law (IViR), the Digital Transformation of Decision-Making research initiative at the Amsterdam Law School, and the Digital Legal Lab interdisciplinary research collaboration between the law schools of the University of Amsterdam, Tilburg University, Radboud University, and Maastricht University.
