The Digital Legal Lab is pleased to announce the publication of the e-booklet and research agenda, key outcomes from the “Data, Personalization, and the Law 2023” winter school. Hosted from 4 to 8 December 2023 at the Lorentz Center in Leiden, Netherlands, the event facilitated a comprehensive exploration into digital technology policy, regulation, and the burgeoning field of Digital Legal Studies. Engaging discussions led by eminent experts, including Digital Legal Lab researchers, provided in-depth insights into the regulatory challenges and opportunities presented by digital technologies.
This winter school successfully brought together a vibrant community of young scholars, fostering robust networks aimed at advancing the understanding of digital technologies’ interplay with law and justice. The sessions covered a wide array of topics, from data-centric regulatory paradigms and data justice to the digital transformation of decision-making and the impact of digitalization on fundamental rights.
